Richard Cobb

Richard is a senior‑level Building Services Engineer (MEP) with over 22 years’ experience delivering complex projects across defence, aviation, commercial, education, healthcare, industrial and heritage sectors. He specialises in mechanical design, building physics, decarbonisation strategy, and technical assurance, with a strong track record of leading multi‑disciplinary teams and driving high‑quality, commercially successful outcomes.
He has held senior leadership roles including Associate Director at Pick Everard, Design Manager/Mechanical Lead at Briggs & Forrester, and Associate (Decarbonisation Lead) at AtkinsRéalis, where he has led major programmes for certain blue chip clients . His background combines consultancy, contracting, and sustainability leadership, giving him a rare ability to bridge design intent with practical, buildable solutions.
Richard is recognised for his strengths in MEP coordination, 3D modelling, net‑zero planning, stakeholder engagement, and leading engineering teams. His portfolio includes award‑winning and high‑profile projects, major technical fit‑outs and decarbonisation programmes across the UK.
